Brother Gordon James Berghuis, OPA, Acting Prior
Brother Gordon James lives in Saugatuck, MI where he attends All Saints Episcopal Church. He is a Eucharistic Lay Minister, Acolyte and Occasional Preacher. He currently studies and works in the ministries of Spiritual Direction, Companioning and Facilitation of Contemplative Groups in Spiritual Formation. Brother Gordon James is on the Bishop's staff as Coordinator of Religious and Contemplative Life for the Diocese of Western Michigan. Brother Gordon James also is a representative to the National Association of Episcopal Christian Communities (NAECC). He is a published poet/writer and a Thankful Member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
The Rev. Canon Kevin Goodrich, OPA
Brother Kevin is one of the founding members of the Order. His life and ministry presently are located in the Diocese of North Dakota. There he serves as priest-in-charge of Grace Episcopal Church in Jamestown, ND, and as the Canon Missioner for the Eastern region of the state. His ministries include the supervision of congregations and their leaders (both lay and ordained), teaching in the diocesan school for ministry, and serving as a parish pastor. Brother is the author of a number of articles and books, including: "Anglican Dominicans: An Introduction for Seekers and the Curious." Brother was elected the first provencial of the North American Province in August, 2010.
Michael Burroughs, Oblate
Michael lives and works in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Jan. They have two grown sons, a daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. In his professional work, he is a executive coach, recruiter and organization development consultant. Michael was a novice with the Order until he and his wife were confirmed as Roman Catholics. He requested to remain in community with the Order as an oblate. As an Episcopalian he completed the Education for Ministry program and served as both a mentor and diocesan coordinator for EFM. During that time he and Jan were co-conveners of the diocesan chapter of Episcopal Peace Fellowship. They remain very committed peace activists. Michael is a retired Army Reserve colonel and has served as an organization development executive for three Fortune 500 companies, and as an executive recruiter with an international firm. He has served as a leadership coach to priests and bishops and delivered leadership development programs to groups of clergy, medical practice leaders, corporate, nonprofit and government executives, military officers, and for several MBA programs. He recently has heard a call to focus his ministry as a leadership coach to executives and clinical leaders working to sustain the traditional mission of Catholic healthcare systems and hospitals.

Brother Larry is a priest, pastoral counselor, spiritual director, and author. He is the Curate at St. Andrew the Apostle in Encinitas, California. Larry and his wife, Brenda, have two grown and married children, and four grandchildren. They live an active but quiet life companioned by their dog, Jack, a Queensland/Catahoula mix. Sister Mary Milano, OPA
Sister Mary is a priest of the Diocese of Chicago where she lives with her son, Jean-Paul. She presently serves as Executive Director of the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission, as well as being priest-in-charge of Saint Alban's Episcopal Church, Chicago. She also has served on both the graduate and undergraduate faculties of theology at Saint Mary of the Woods College, since 1990, most recently as Professor, specializing in moral theology. Mary is a member of the Illinois Bar, active in the Illinois State and American Bar Associations, and a frequent speaker and writer on issues primarily related to ethics and professions, particularly law, and on international human rights issues. She holds degrees in theology and biblical languages from Loyola University (Chicago), McCormick Theological Seminary and Graduate Theological Foundation, and in law from Northern Illinois University and the University of Leicester.
A little red house on a North Dakotan prairie hill overlooks sparkling spring-fed Spiritwood Lake. Here, Sister Pam lives with her husband of 36 years, Alan, along with two cats, two dogs and a multitude of God's wild creatures. Her adult sons live in adjoining states with their families Having had a full and rewarding career as a nurse educator, she now lives a rich life as a Lay Minister, Preacher and disciple of Jesus. Sister Pam's particular interests include contemplative prayer, study of the Word and caring for others. Many summers she may be found in Guatemala working with San Marcos Episcopal Church and the North Dakota Episcopal Diocese in and around the city of Quetzaltenango providing health care to those in need.
Sister Jackie lives in Jamestown, North Dakota. She has been a dance teacher for over 40 years, teaching children ages 3 through teen tap, ballet and jazz. She has one adult son. Sister has achieved many distinctions and awards in dance and other arenas including being a former Miss North Dakota, but she is quick to say "nothing fills her heart more than her relationship with Jesus Christ." She is active at her home parish-Grace Church in Jamestown-in several liturgical ministries including lay reader, acolyte, and altar guild. She offers dance lessons through the church, as well as a liturgical dance group.

Brother David is the Deacon at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Napanee Ontario. Brother's Diaconal ministry is to the poor, homeless and hungry of his community. To meet the needs of these marginalized people, he started and runs Morningstar Mission - a place to get meals, food, shelter and much more. Brother Dave is retired from the Chaplains Department of Corrections Canada.
The Reverend Don Bailey, OPA
Brother Bailey is a priest and hospital chaplain in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He is priest in charge of St. Alban's, Amherst Island as well. He is a member of St. James' Parish. He has been a parish priest in the Diocese of Moosonee, where he learnde to speak Moose Cree, and in the Diocese of Ontario. His educational background is in history and law. He also holds an MDiv from Trinity College at the University of Toronto. Brother Don practised law (criminal, correctional and constitutional) for ten years. He has been active in youth ministry and was the first spiritual director for the diocese's youth cursillo movement. Brother Don is a representative for the National Association of Episcopal Christian Communities (NAECC). He loves to preach and is a student of scripture.

Brother Denis van Wassenhoven, OPA
Brother Denis Van Wassenhoven is a retired French teacher and Head of Modern Languages from the Toronto District School Board. Brother Denis resides in Napanee, Ontario with his wife, Jacqueline, who is a writer of children books. They both attend St. Mary Magdalene Church and volunteer at the Morningstar Mission which helps the marginalized people of the Napanee area.

Brother Neal is an Australian Anglican Priest, currently an Associate at Christ Church Cathedral, Ballarat, Victoria, and providing supply ministry in the Diocese of Ballarat. Brother Neal is married to Margaret, a Poet and Speech and Drama specialist teacher. They live in Ballarat with their dogs, and share a love of good theology, liturgy, pastoral care, reading, music, gardening and Neal's passion for trains.

Brother Doug and his wife, Ursula, live in Jarvis, a southern Ontario town near Lake Erie. They have four grown children and two grandchildren. Ursula is an RN, and after careers in banking and then classroom instruction, Doug devotes most of his time to St. Paul's Anglican, Jarvis, serving as Lay Reader, Rector's Warden and Cemetery Chairman. In ecumenical work, Doug helped found a soup kitchen for a Methodist church and operated a thrift store for a Baptist church. Doug and Ursula cherish time together.

Sister Elena was elected Rector of the Congregation in 2006. She is mission priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia and a member of General Board of Examining Chaplains of the Episcopal Church. She has taught history at the undergraduate level in Georgia and South Carolina.
Brother Michael is an active member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Montgomery, AL. He is a Cursillista and a graduate of the Education for Ministry program. Brother Michael's varied ministries range from Sunday School teacher to softball coach, and he is pursuing Dominican studies in expectation of God's further call to ministry.
Brother Jimmy LeBlanc, OPA
Brother Jimmy was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, attending a Christian Brother's School for his elementary and high school education. He was ordained as permanent deacon and served Roman Catholic parishes as a deacon for a decade before being received into the Episcopal Church. In the year 2000, Brother Jimmy, as a deacon, was assigned to Incarnation Episcopal Church of Lafayette in the Diocese of Western Louisiana. His assignment was to work with the homeless, the addicted, and the lonely. Two years later he was ordained priest and now serves that parish as its vicar. Father Jimmy is a retired professional firefighter who finished his career with the rank of chief of training.

Brother George, a retired lawyer, works the front desk at his home church, St. John's Montgomery, where he teaches Centering Prayer, mentors an Education For Ministries seminar, and serves as a spiritual director. A trained Centering Prayer instructor with Contemplative Outreach, he has practiced Centering Prayer for over twenty years, and received his spiritual director's training at Sursum Corda, which is sponsored by the Diocese of South Carolina. He has an extensive background in Mahayana Buddhism, which he studied at Naropa Institute, Boulder, CO. Presently, he is reading the Bible in Hebrew and Greek. Brother George sought out the Anglican Order of Preachers because of a dream.
Brother Travis Frank, OPA
The Reverend Travis Frank is a native of Texas, serving the greatest part of ministry in Arkansas. After graduating from seminary and ordination as a Baptist minister, he took a position as Chaplain to the Arkansas Department of Correction and also was commissioned as an officer in the US Army Reserves. He served as Chaplain to the prisons for 7 years, the Reserves for 12. During this time, he felt a call from God to a deeper life that led to the Anglican expression of spirituality. He was confirmed in 1994, became a Deacon in 1997 and a Priest in 1999 after attending a year of Anglican Studies at the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas. He is currently the Rector of St. John's Parish in Helena, Arkansas, and has served at various levels of leadership in the Diocese over the last ten years of ministry. A major attraction to the Order of Preachers has been the desire to be held accountable to a spiritual discipline that demands a deeper level of life than is currently known or expressed for Christ and His church.

Brother Christopher Hamlett, OPA, acting Prior
Brother Christopher Hamlett currently lives in Smithfield, Virginia as a nurse. He has been in the nursing field for 19 years. He is a member of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in Suffolk, Virginia where he serves at the altar, as Lay Reader and sings in the Choir. Brother Christopher volunteers with local organizations to help feed the hungry and for the free clinic. Brother serves as correspondent for Associates for the Order. Brother Christopher enjoys singing, hiking and reading. Brother Christopher is a member of the National Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music.
The Rev. Thomas J. Hudson, OPA
Brother Tom is a non-stipendiary Episcopal priest serving a rural Appalachian parish in the Diocese of Maryland, where he is a member of the Mutual Ministry Team that serves as the Rector of the church. Brother grew up in the Episcopal Church, then became a Roman Catholic at 18 and completed two years of seminary before God took him down a different path. He recommitted himself to the Episcopal Church and has been active as an organist, choir director liturgist, preacher, and vestry member over the years. Brother Tom is a software applications manager for the Association of American Medical Colleges in Washington, DC. He speaks Spanish and is a leader in the Hispanic/Latino ministry in his parish and diocese.
Sister Heather Rollins, OPASister Heather is a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Portsmouth, Virginia, where her husband is the organist and choir director. In the parish, Sr. Heather serves as chaplain to the parish musicians as a sort of "utility infielder" who fills in wherever the rector needs help in worship. A software engineer by trade, Sr. Heather is currently on disability for a chronic condition. During this time, she prays, journals, blogs, and practices obedience to her physical therapist. Sr. Heather loves God, music, her two kitties, happy colors, Jesus, chocolate, her two teenaged children, lightly sweetened iced tea, her Dominican Brothers and Sisters, the Book of Common Prayer, and her husband, but not necessarily in that order.
The Rev. William Burk, OPA
Father Burk is Rector of Creator Episcopal Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia and a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary where he received his MDiv. Fr. Bill's ministry of preaching and teaching focuses on spiritual life and development which has led to numerous Diocesan as well as National Church positions. He is a regular seminar and retreat leader as well as a member of "Brother in Christ Ministries," a seminar, retreat mission, and resource production ministry within the church.
Brother Tim is in his final year of M.Div. studies at Trinity School for Ministry as a candidate for ordination in the Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina. Prior to entering seminary, Tim worked in the development of diabetes research protocols as a registered nurse at the Medical University of South Carolina. He and his wife, Marcie, have three grown children.

Brother Guy Mackey, OPA, acting Prior
Father Guy Mackey was born and raised in New York State, graduating from high school in one of the "Burned Over" districts of the 19th century revivalism. He is the eldest son of a Christian & Missionary Alliance pastor who, when Fr. Guy was in his late teens, challenged the family to become Episcopalians. (See Fr. Jeffrey below!) As his family became members of historic Grace Church, Utica, NY, Fr. Mackey completed his undergraduate degree in business, and then moved on to complete his MDiv at Cranmer House in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 1998. He was ordained a priest in The Episcopal Church in 1999 at Grace Church, Monroe, LA. As one of the young priests in The Episcopal Church, he is in his second parish as Rector at St. John's Church, Farmington, New Mexico. In 2009 he completed his dissertation and received the ThD from Laud Hall Seminary. He is an avid reader and has a deep knowledge of Chinese Kenpo. He is recognized as a profound counselor, is one of the three founders of OPA, and is noted as a keen and on-the-target preacher and successful pastor.
The Reverend Jeffrey A. Mackey, OPA
Fr. Jeffrey A. Mackey served for nineteen years as an ordained pastor in The Christian & Missionary Church, pastoring in New York, Pennsylvania, and Alabama. He was also along with this a teacher of high school English, chemistry, and Bible/theology. In 1991 he and his family were confirmed in The Episcopal Church, joining Grace Church, Utica, NY where Fr. Jeffrey became the Associate Rector under Fr. James J. Cardone. Fr. Jeffrey was ordained a deacon and a priest in 1993. He has served parishes in New York, Louisiana, and Florida.
He served as the Assistant Vice-President and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences for Nyack Colldge, New York City, from 1999-2005 and as the Vice President and Academic Dean of another seminary from 2005-2007. He taught at Christ the King Roman Catholic Seminary in 2008. He is a graduate of Nyack College, Macon Theological Seminary, and The Graduate Theological Foundation. He holds a Certificate in Anglican Studies from The General Theological Seminary, and currently is completing his PhD with Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana. He is the Vicar of Trinity Episcopal Church in Melrose, Florida where he lives with his wife, LaVonne. Fr. Mackey is the founder of the Anglican expression of the Order of Preachers.

Brother Ken is a registered professional land surveyor and carries out his pastoral and teaching ministry at Christ Memorial Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. He is a graduate of the Diocesan School of Theology and a Licensed Eucharistic Minister. He is at present the Recorder for the National Association of Episcopal Christian Communities (NAECC).
The Reverend Harris Rowzie, OPA
Brother Harris is an ordained priest in the Anglo Catholic Diocese of the Southwest. He was ordained in July, 2010. He is currently developing an Anglo Catholic Parish in Southwest Louisiana, which will be named St. Dominic's Anglo Catholic Church. Brother Harris is a Licensed Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor. He is contracted to provide Vocational Expert testimony for the Social Security Administration. Brother Harris has been a Life Professed member of the Anglican Order of Preachers since 2007. He also does mission work for the Diocese of North Dakota with Fr. Kevin Goodrich.
The Reverend Philip C. Ray, OPA
Brother Phil is a bi-vocational Episcopal Priest living with his wife, Sally, in Dalhart, Texas. He is rector of St. James Episcopal Church, Dalhart, in the Diocese of Northwest Texas, and serves as Director of Dental Services for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Dalhart Unit. Besides degrees in dentistry and an MS in Counseling Psychology, Brother Phil holds a Certificate in Individual Theological Studies from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. Brother Phil and Sally have made multiple mission trips to Honduras and Guatemala and have studied psychology and spirituality at the Jungian Institute in Switzerland. They have five grown children and eight grandchildren.

Sister Sally resides in Dalhart, Texas, with her husband, Phil. They have five adult children and eight grandchildren. Sister Sally has served as a Licensed Eucharistic Minister, Licensed Lay Preacher, and in Stephen Ministry Leadership, Bible studies and EFM, as well as mission trips, Cursillo and intercessory prayer. She holds an MS in speech therapy. Sister Sally is passionate for our Lord Jesus Christ and His Holy Word. She is grateful for the community of the Anglican Order of Preachers.

Brother James practices law in San Antonio, Texas and attends St. Luke's Episcopal Church. He serves as the co-chair of Adult Education, is a lay eucharistic minister, a lay reader and a verger at that church. He is a regular teacher there and also writes for the Diocese of West Texas publications. His interests include liturgics, spirituality, Christian mystics and theology.

Susan is an active member of Christ Memorial Church in Mansfield, Louisiana. She serves on the Vestry, as Choirmaster, Lay Eucharistic Minister, and is a delegate to the convention of the Diocese of Western Louisiana.
In her secular life, Susan is a Registered Professional Landman. Taking up her spare time is the continual study of God's Word.

The Reverend Dr. Bob Rowlands, OPA, acting Prior*
Brother Bob is priest in St. John's, Newfoundland, in the Diocese of Eastern Newfoundland and Labrador. His studies include History (Eastern Nazarene College, Northeastern University), Theology (Victoria University, Drew University), and Theatre Arts (Queen's University). Prior to his retirement, he enjoyed thirty-three years of pastoral ministry in six parishes in Nova Scotia, Ontario, Manitoba, and Newfoundland, fifteen of which were in the United Churchof Canada and eighteen in the Anglican Church of Canada. His special interest is Adult Religious Education, particularly the teaching of Christian doctrine. Brother Bob recently served the Order at Grace Episcopal Church in Jamestown, North Dakota, where he was Missionary-in-Residence. He presently ministers as Honorary Assistant at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Brother Justin resides in London, UK, with his wife, Liz and their three children, John, Nat and Katie. He is serving his title post at St. Mary's Ealing. He trained for the priesthood at Regent College, Vancouver, BC. During which time, he served in young adult and youth ministry in two local parishes. Prior to that, he and his wife were involved with Youth With a Mission (YWAM). In the first three years of their marriage, Brother Justin and Liz were in 13 different nations. His interests include: liturgics, monasticism, neo-monastic communities, fly fishing and backpacking.

Muriel feels particularly called to work alongside the elderly and those people who find themselves marginalised in our society.

Oblate A.K.M. Adam teaches in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at the University of Glasgow. He previously has taught at Duke Divinity School, Seabury-Western Theological Seminary, Princeton Theological Seminary, and Eckerd College, and has served parishes in New Haven, Tampa and Evanston. His books, articles and presentations range from the New Testament to hermeneutics and theology, to technology, to comics, to pedagogy.

Brother Ron is a bi-vocational priest in Bolivia. He holds licensure and graduate degrees in Psychology and Nutrition. He is the first fully licensed and recognized Doctor of Chiropractic in Bolivia. He was invited to Bolivia by a university where he and his wife founded several academic programs. His wife, Violet, is a Vocational Deacon and a psychologist. Together they have developed multiple ministries including a Wellness Center, social outreach programs, leadership development and new church planting. He is the Rector of the Anglican Episcopal Church "Hosanna" in the city of Santa Cruz.

A priest in the Old German Catholic Church, Oblate Isaac Pellizari serves a mariners' ministry in the port city of Santos, Sao Paulo state, Brazil. He is associated with All Saints Anglican Church in Santos. His interest in Dominican spirituality stems from the influence of his Dominican educators in his student days.

The Right Reverend William O. Gregg is the Bishop Visitor in succession to Bishops Louttit and Hargrove. Bishop Gregg is Assistant Bishop in North Carolina and formerly the Diocesan in Eastern Oregon. Bishop Gregg was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, ordained deacon and priest in the Diocese of Virginia, consecrated Bishop in eastern Oregon in 2000. His doctorate is in the area of systematic theology. He is a member of the house of bishops theology committee, of the General Board of Examining Chaplains, and of the International Anglican-Orthodox Dialogue. He is not only acquainted with the third order religious groups, having received renewals of vows by Franciscans in the past, but is also involved in research into religious rules and co-teaches with Jo Bailey Wells at Duke a course on religious rules as the foundation of canon law.
